HARPER CREEK JUNIOR FOOTBALL COACHES CREED
The safety, welfare and well-being of our youth are of the primary concern to all involved with the Harper Creek Junior Football program. To promote the basic principles of awareness and protection for our youth, HCJF has adopted the volunteer application. HCJF is pleased to institute this new program as it will serve for the benefit of the players, parents, coaches, and volunteers of the Central Football League.
I pledge myself to uphold the highest ethical and moral standards in all my personal contacts with team members, parents, officials, coaches, and opposing teams.
I will exemplify all the principles of good sportsmanship and instill them in the team members. I will not permit any unsportsmanlike conduct from players or spectators representing the team I am coaching. I understand that my conduct will have a definite impact on the youth, the program, and myself.
I will adhere to all Central Junior Football Conference Rules and Regulations. I understand that if I do not adhere to the principles of good sportsmanship, Central Junior Football Conference Rules and Regulations, and the provisions of this agreement, I will be subject to disciplinary actions and possible dismissal. I will be responsible for the instruction of Rules and Regulations to all HCJF players.
I will show respect to all officials, and understand that I am responsible for the conduct of my team's players, parents, coaches and assistants at game sites.
I acknowledge that my team is governed by Central Junior Football Conference Rules and Regulations, and that the proper conduct of my team's players, parents, family members, fans, coaches and assistants are my responsibility.
I will, after any athletic contest is completed, line up my team facing our opposition and lead them in shaking hands with each member and coach of the opposing team.
While winning is important, I will continue to emphasize skill development, fundamentals, and give each player the same opportunity to play and contribute. I will create an environment that emphasizes teamwork, dedication,, discipline and enthusiasm without compromising the personal safety of the athlete.
I have read the Coaches Creed and fully agree to comply with them. I understand that the HCJF Board may relieve me of my duties if it concludes in the exercise of its sole discretion, I have violated these rules or the other Central Junior Football Conference policies and procedures.
Remember without volunteers like you our program wouldn't work.
